A message to our patients,
We hope you are safe and well during these difficult times. We are all in this together and are always striving to improve every aspect of what we do. This has always included new technologies, materials, and procedures. We never make any exceptions when it comes to your health and well-being, or ours.
I will keep this brief but comprehensive and to the point. I have implemented office guidelines and protocols that will best protect our team and our patients. We are excited to return to the office starting Tuesday May 26, 2020 as allowed by Governor Phil Murphy Order No. 145 dated May 15, 2020.
Peace of Mind: Office COVID-19 Protocol
Prior to Your Reservation (Appointment) Phone Call:
We will call to let you know about all of the changes you will experience at our office. We have put a lot of care into making your experience as safe and comfortable as possible. We will ask you questions about your health (fever, cough, shortness of breath, etc…), if you’ve traveled out of state recently, or have been exposed to anyone potentially infected. We want to minimize contact and improve patient flow, so we will discuss finances prior to your appointment. We will get a credit card or other finance option for pre-payment or copayment prior to your visit. We will email you any receipts or appointment confirmations. When you arrive for your appointment and are in the parking area, please call or text us from your car to let us know you are here and ready for your appointment. Our front door is locked, so we will call you back when we are ready for you in order to adhere to social distancing practices. We ask you please wear a face covering upon arrival. If you do not have a face covering, you will be given one. We ask that you come by yourself to your appointment to minimize additional people in the reception room. We also ask that you use the restroom at home, if possible.
Upon Arrival of Your Reservation (Appointment):
You will enter the office one at a time, where we will take your temperature and have you disinfect your hands. You will be escorted directly to the treatment room by a dental assistant or hygienist. Providers will be wearing proper medical-grade PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including gloves, gowns, face shields, and N95 or KN95 masks.
In the Treatment Room:
You will be asked to rinse with a hydrogen peroxide solution to oxidize any potential viruses in your mouth. We will minimize any aerosols in our office by utilizing a central air purification system with REME technology (Reflective Electromagnetic Energy) that provides safe hydrogen peroxide particles that neutralize 99.99% of airborne viruses.
We are excited to get back to helping you, our special patients!!!!! Can’t wait to see you.
Warmest regards,
Dr. Pete
