Step 1

Initial Consultation and Oral Exam

The first appointment will be a meet-and-greet consultation with Dr. Ciampi or Dr. Morris for a comprehensive dental exam and x-ray to evaluate the health and appearance of your teeth and gums prior to any cosmetic procedures. During this initial visit, our doctor will listen to your concerns, review your dental transformation goals, and begin treatment planning for your individualized smile makeover.

Step 2

Diagnostic Workup and Cosmetic Imaging

Patients can expect to return for a second appointment where Dr. CIampi or Dr. Morris will perform a diagnostic workup for your specific case. This will include digital cosmetic imaging with 3D scans and photographs, occlusal (bite) analysis to examine your dental and jaw structures, completion of our aesthetics questionnaire to address your specific concerns, and other factors.

Our dentist will then analyze this information to align your facial features with your cosmetic dentistry goals in order to achieve the best aesthetic balance. Other physical aspects, such as age, gender, and body type might influence your smile design as well. All of these diagnostics are then used to create a treatment plan and fabricate digital models of your new smile using state-of-the-art computer imaging technology. Once your treatment plan has been created, you will then be able to see a “preview” of your new smile. During this time, you will be able to choose the ideal shape and shade of your teeth while using visual references to help ensure that you and our dentist have the same expectations going into your smile makeover procedure.

Step 3

Patient Review and Treatment Plan Scheduling

Patients will return for a third appointment to complete a final assessment of their digital models, review the complete treatment plan and estimated costs, and schedule the procedure appointments. Depending on the procedures that will be performed, your smile makeover may be completed in a single visit or a series of scheduled future appointments.

Once you return for your treatments, rest assured Spring Lake Dental Care is equipped with the highest-quality services and advanced dentistry techniques to provide the most comfortable, efficient care possible.
