Invisalign®

Invisalign®, offered at our New Jersey cosmetic dentistry practice, is a revolutionary way to help you get straight, even teeth without noticeable, painful metal braces.

How Invisalign® Works

The Invisalign® aligners that are used to straighten the teeth are made of custom fitted clear plastic, so they are virtually undetectable. The aligners work slowly, shifting crooked or crowded teeth into their proper position, creating a beautifully aligned smile. Unlike traditional braces, the Invisalign® system has no metal, making the aligners incredibly comfortable and easy to wear.

Your Consultation

During your consultation, Dr. Andrew Morris or Dr. Peter Ciampi will examine your smile to determine if Invisalign® is a good option for you. If he sees that you will achieve good results with Invisalign®, our dentist will design an individualized treatment plan using tooth impressions. From the impressions, a series of approximately ten to twenty aligners will be created (depending on the degree of straightening required). Every two weeks you will progress to a new aligner until your teeth are fully shifted into place. Most patients are required to wear the Invisalign® aligners for about 12 months to achieve ideal results.
